Start of the 2026 Season - Presidents Message

Welcome to another year for the members of the Okanagan Valley Miata Club. Last year we celebrated our 25th anniversary for the Miata Club, and an impressive year it was.
I would like to introduce our current executive for our 2026 year:
President - Caroline Price
Past President - Dot Schroneberg
Vice President - Ron Nugent
Treasurer - Gaye Baxter
Event Coordinator - Allen Batchelar
Membership - Rolly Grimm
Secretary - Lori Crawford
A special thank you goes out to all our leads and sweeps last year and for those who stepped up to help again this year. Thank you to all those who shared in the leading, sweeping, and organizing of these runs – Rolly, Doug, Wayne Hind and Allen. The folks that assisted in sweeps was Allen, Lori, Bruce and Doug. If anyone would like to take part in leading or sweeping a run, please let Allen or anyone on the executive, know of your interest. We could use your assistance.
Our Run Committee has been working behind the scenes to set up a year of runs including a couple of overnight runs at the beginning and the end of our season.
Our previous year started with an overnight trip to Nelson in the Slocan Valley and ended with our overnight weekend in Osoyoos at Walnut Beach resort with many fabulous runs and Socials in between.
Again, we have planned BBQs and Socials for our members to enjoy, they are posted on our website along with the planned runs so you can plan ahead.
