Shuswap Falls Picnic & Bocce Tournament

Tour Leader: Kurt
Our Shuswap Falls drive, picnic and Bocce tournament was attended by 17 cars. We had a good turnout for breakfast at the Jammery before the drive as well.
An accidental feature of the drive to the falls was that we almost became part of a parade as we drove through Oyama. I'm sure that the people lined up along the road thought that we were the start of it.
Many of our participants had never been to the Shuswap Falls, and had never played Bocce either, and both were a real hit. And of course the picnic in the woods by a river is always a treat. The Bocce Ball tournament was designed to have our members mix and mingle. Each team was paired with a man and a woman at random. The number one rule was; have fun! And they did. The weather cooperated with no rain except a few drops on our way home in the afternoon.
