Mount Revelstoke National Park Run

Tour Leaders: Mark & Debi
What a day for zoomin! We had 5 cars on our last minute trip as we headed north on Highway 97 through the Okanagan Valley. We wound our way along Mara Lake and made right turn in Sicamous on Highway 1.
We enjoyed a leisurely picnic lunch at Craigellachie, site of the CPR last spike, and then zoomed on to Three Valley Gap and up to Mount Revelstoke National Park.
The fresh mountain air, magnificent mountain vistas, flowers, patches of snow and tiny mountain streams made our short mountain hike a delight.
Of course we had to stop for an iced coffee in downtown Revelstoke before making our way back to Malakwa for dinner at the Burner Pub.
Special thanks Diana for the delightful treat at the end of our day! Wonder what our treat was? Sorry, you just had to be there!
