Nakusp Drive & Dip Weekend

Pete's Umpteenth Annual over nighter to Nakusp and New Denver was another success story for 2012.
A dozen Miatae congregated on September 8 for a brilliant sunshiny drive and ferry crossing to Nakusp. Following a hot session in the Nakusp Hot Springs (go figure) a group dinner was held at the Leland Hotel that evening.
A few rain sprinkles made for a top up or top down decision before Sunday's drive to New Denver where we were to savour the Hills Garlic Festival. Around noon time heavy clouds rolled in over Slocan Lake and our group beat a hasty retreat to our cars as OVMC members chose various routes home. At the Needles Ferry tops were folded down in anticipation of a 28C sunny drive back to the Okanagan Valley.
