Friends with Miatas Going for Coffee

We had an excellent turn out, particularly for a Wednesday morning with 13 Miatas participating as we all met up at the Bliss Bakery in Peachland and the visitors’ centre in Penticton. Then under sunny skies we cruised one of our all-time favourite runs along Green Mountain Road to Yellow Lake.
After a brief stop we turned further south towards the equator via Twin Lakes Road into deep South Okanagan territory and the picturesque Fairview Golf Course for a delicious a la carte lunch, where we had a group photo taken of many happy faces.
The final leg of our journey took us across the Okanagan River at Road 22 then northbound along the east side bench of Black Sage Road to Oliver, one of the prettiest drives in the Okanagan. We later detoured east up and around Okanagan Falls into cowboy country via McLean Creek Road and finally the twist and turns of East Side Road along Skaha Lake to Penticton.
We couldn’t ask for a better day to complete another fabulous driving season with the tops down on some of the best Miata roads in the South Okanagan.
